Art and Life
I had the oil-painting class today. We're going to draw a landscape for today and next Friday lessons. That was my first time to draw a landscape and it was diffuicult.
I really felt that the paintings show everyone's character. Drawing speedy without wondering too much is important and that's very hard for me to do. My paintings' colour often become medium tone. I think it shows the ambiguity in me.
When I put the TV channel on the NHK English program after coming back from work, I found the guy from "Meiwa Denki" was talking as a guest. He is a head of an art unit and they produce many art works with the concept of nonsense & practical use art. I thought they were very unique but didn't know that they've already being spotted by foreigners like the French designer Agnis b who is popular in Japan. It was a kind of nice feeling to hear that some young guys in London said "Gosh, Japanese have gone mad. They really live in the future..." replying the interview, being showed their products.
However it's also the fact that there were many mad people in Japan who couldn't find the way to live their own life like "Meiwa Denki" and have decided to kill themselves.....That's the reason we're having an anti-suicide bill going through Congress.

It's great to see that your blog has returned! A good way to make people visit your blog is to add the address to the signature on your email accounts.
Try hard to build up your imagination. Walk around Tokyo, and think how you could use art to capture the strange things you see in everyday life.
Please post some of your art in this blog!!!!!
I didn't know I had someone stalking me somewhere in the world!
Of course I knew it was you Richard!
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
